What are the best foods that lower cholesterol? Before we can continue it is necessary to mention some people have high LDL cholesterol from genetic reasons. The right nutritional food will only assist to either improve or at least not to increase the existing cholesterol level.
Cholesterol high foods are all animal based. The common sense will be to reduce the intake of red meat, poultry, seafood and dairy products with high fat content. This should be done on a personal bases as each person has different genes and requirements.

Fish, unsaturated fats, olive oil, nuts, various seeds (sunflower)
