Why Men Want To Sleep After Sex?

What is happening after love making in most cases? Why men want to sleep after sex? It is more than interesting because this is the time when women love to talk instead. An exact opposite.

While women are full of energy men tend to be tired and they fell asleep in most cases.

It is not because of their personal choice or their laziness.

Women and men perceive and experience sex in a very different way. While ejaculation causes reduced energy levels in men, orgasm in women increases their energy. Instead of being tired they become more active.

When men choose to sleep women would love to get recognized for what they are. They feel man wanted only sex and after he had achieved his target he can fell asleep.

Instead they would like to see their prolonged interest, talk about the experience or simply just have a general chat about tomorrows shopping.

This would be a great time for any man to express his love to his partner. To mention her beauty and continue with extra kisses.

But chemistry has to do with it. And that is nobody's fault.

Oxytocin, prolactin and serotonin are responsible for their relaxed state and sleepiness. Oxytocin aids to reduce stress levels while serotonin brings comfort. This leads to genuine tiredness and relaxed sleep.

Also men are the ones who do (at least most of the time) the most work. Their muscles are more engaged and they get more tired due to this fact.

The results are easy to predict. Many women find out while they are talking just to realize their loved one does not listen at all. He is in a deep sleep instead.
